SS : 6 Months Till A Kiss Part 2

Anjali smiled and walked towards Arnav saying, "and yet another example of the change in my brother...he would never...EVER show such passion! And today...he has proven to all of us how much he loves Khushi..." Anjali hugged them both...

Arnav and Khushi coudln't look at  each other...

Khushi felt so embarrassed...

Arnav felt confused...

He turned to walk back to his room...

"Chote?" Nani asked inquiringly..."i thought you had to leave? Didn't you say you had something very important to do..."

Arnav's feet froze on the stairs...

His 'important work' was finalizing his and Khushi's annulment...and that was already making his heart fill with discomfort ...

He turned to look at Khushi who knew what Nani was talking about...she couldn't look at Arnav...she just quickly ran past him up the stairs...

"Khushiji!?" Anjali called out..."chote...you should talk to Khushiji...i think she's feeling embarrassed..." Anjali just smiled and walked back to talk with Nani...

Shyam had watched everything...

His mind reeled with murderous thoughts..."How DARE Khushi let him kiss her like that!...that is the LAST time i remain quiet...I don't care who is around...I will stop this once and for all..."

Khushi had run upstairs and into the bedroom...she went out to the poolside to gather her pillow and blanket for the last time... tears were dripping from her eyes...

"enough Khushi...why cry...be happy...you are finallly leaving...but where will you go..." She trudged back into the room to lay her bedding on the couch...

Arnav walked in his room...the first thing he saw was Khushi...

She looked up at him..."don't worry Mr. Raizada...this is the last time you shall have to see me in your room..."

"khushi..."

"I won't tell anyone anything...you can explain however you want about my leaving..."

"Khushi!"

"and i won't return to cause you anymore trouble..."

"KHUSHI!"

She ran into the bathroom and locked the door...her back hit the door as she sank to the floor...no longer holding back her tears...

Arnav took a step forward as she ran away but he stopped when he heard the door slam...

His fists clenched at his sides...he walked out to the poolside and paced back and forth...

Finally he sat down on the same chair where they had both confessed...with his head in his hands he spoke out loud to himself..."I can't let her go...i mean...Di is so happy ..."...his face filled with disgust for himself..."it's not for Di..." he looked up....."I want her to stay...Because I...I love..."

"Chote?!"

Arnav turned to see Anjali entering his room...

He quickly stood up, "Di? What's wrong?" he asked noticing her worried expression

"I thought i told you to talk to Khushi! You KNEW she felt embarrassed...did you upset her further?"

Arnav's body tensed in alarm...He looked towards the bathroom and noticed the door was open...

Running over, he found it empty..."Where did she go? Di, Where is she!?"

"She said she had to go out...she hugged us all...and then left...she looked so upset..."

Arnav's felt his heart get struck with terror...

"When she gets home you should really apologize... You can be so heartless at times..."

Arnav quickly ran from the room ignoring everyone who tried to talk to him...

He jumped into his car and sped off to the Gupta house.... "She left. She actually left. Why!?"

His thoughts answered for him... "Because you told her to...because you told her you hated her...because you made her sleep outside...because you constantly threatened her...because you made her miserable..."

He violently punched his steering wheel...

He constantly called Khushi's phone, but she wasn't picking up...

He arrived at the Gupta's house...

Barely waiting for the car to stop, he jumped out and  raced in...not even bothering to knock...

Buaji was startled , "What! What are you doing?"

"Khushi..." he said panting..."Where is Khushi...?"

"She left awhile ago......"

Garima spoke up..."she said she just came by to visit quickly...she finally hugged us goodbye and left..."

Arnav stood completely dumbfounded...she was saying goodbye to everyone...why?

"where did she go?"

"she said she was going back home..." Garima said starting to sound worried...

Arnav left abruptly and sped off in his car once again...He called Anjali asking if Khushi had arrived home, but she hadn't...

He knew only one other place where she would be...he drove to the Mandir...

Climbing the stairs he searched everywhere...but she was nowhere...

He walked up to the front and found her mangalsutra laying there...

Arnav felt like someone had just reached in and yanked his heart out of him...

He grabbed it furiously and walked out calling her phone again...

But she wasn't picking up...

He was going out of his mind with worry..."Khushi? Where are you?!"
